Privacy Policy

Overview

CameraSweeper is designed to respect your privacy. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

Photo Library Access

CameraSweeper asks for access to your photo library so it can scan for duplicates, large videos, and screenshots, and delete the items you choose. All of this happens entirely on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, copied off the device, or shared with anyone. You can grant full or limited access, and change it anytime in iOS Settings.

On-Device Processing

Duplicate detection, thumbnails, and storage calculations all run locally on your device. To make repeat scans fast, CameraSweeper keeps a small analysis cache on your device only — you can clear it anytime from Settings. Nothing about your library ever leaves your phone.

No Network, No Tracking

CameraSweeper makes no network requests. It has no analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks, and no data is shared with third parties.

Deleting Photos

When you delete items, CameraSweeper uses Apple's Photos system, which asks you to confirm. Deleted items move to your "Recently Deleted" album and can be recovered there for 30 days.

Children's Privacy

CameraSweeper does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
